Bob Rennie made a presentation last week and talked about the two markets we will have in Vancouver in the next 15 years - aging baby boomers downsizing but helping their kids and grandchildren purchase homes. We completely agree with this and have already experienced this happening with our own clients. In fact, I have personally experienced this myself (Dale speaking - not my younger partner Dan - lol). Funny thing happened though - I downsized and I did help my children, but now I would love a bit more "room" for my grandchildren! Rennie talks about this in the attached article - we want more room - not more "rooms".
