Don't Wait...The Market is Active

This past weekend was the kick off for a new listing of mine in East Vancouver.  The condo market  may have been flat in recent past but we are off to a smoking start.   I had 55 groups of buyers through my open houses on Saturday and Sunday.  Although the unit did not suit all parties that visited the open house, all but a hand full of visitors were qualified buyers that are actively searching in the market (i.e. there were very few “tire-kickers”).

Why so active you ask?  There is a shortage of listings.  We are not yet in the spring market so the inventory is still on the rise.  There is a lot of buyers and a lack of options in East Van in this type of product.

The other key factor is our staging.  Dale and I staged this listing, as we do with all of our listings, and had professional photos taken.  The end result is a product that sparkles and that buyers are not willing to risk waiting or procrastinating when it comes to scheduling their viewing.  Take a look at a couple of the before and after shots below.
