Enjoy North Vancouver Parks: Princess Park

Today I finished my open house at #310 307 W 2nd Street in Lower Lonsdale and headed to Princess Park to meet my family.  North Vancouver is spectacular this time of year with the flowers in bloom.  If you have kids, dogs or enjoy hiking and biking, Princess Park is for you!  The picture above was taken at the entrance to Princess Park.

This is a popular destination for locals in the neighbourhood as there is a dedicated play area (that is fenced) with three slides, swings, and various play equipment.  The creek, trails and fields are popular for dog lovers as this is an off-leash park.    There are also tennis courts at the entrance and sizeable parking lot for little kids to practice their biking (there were four children doing so this afternoon).

If you live in Upper Lonsdale, Lynn Valley or Princess Park there are several short cuts through neighbourhoods to access Princess Park.  These trails can save you time and keep you off of the busy roads.  If you are interested in seeing what types of homes are for sale in the area and/or would like to know more about the neighbourhoods check out our neighbourhood pages for Princess Park, Upper Lonsdale and Lynn Valley (click the area name to view the specific area pages).

Back to the slides I go…enjoy the weekend!
