Vancouver's Royal Pacific Realty had such a surge of business during the first two weeks of February that agents and assistants worked day and night shifts to find homes for Chinese buyers visiting during the Lunar New Year.
In my office, RE/MAX Select Properties this was happening as well. Sales jumped 70% in February according the REBGV. And March sales jumped 32% from February.
This month we have seen alot of the Chinese buyers coming to NorthVancouver with multiple offers happening on most detached homes. How long is it going to last is a question we are asked every day. And the answer is “No one really knows”.
